To everyone's surprise, after a minute or so, the prostitute came out running and screaming. The disciples suspected whether Jesus has sado-masochistic kinks or what. They asked the prostitute what happened. The prostitute said, "When I went to him, explained him why I am here, and then began undressing myself, He saw my vagina." Everyone got interested what had happened. Apparently, Jesus sees her vagina and said, "Oh! you poor thing! How did you get this severe wound?" And then he touched her vagina and the vagina, which is sort of like a crack in the skin, healed and basically, he removed her vagina from her body and smoothened her skin there".
Of course, it is a joke. But Interpreters over years have tried to interpret and understand what this joke means. Many people say, "Oh! The only imperfection in a human is his desires and Jesus healed it for her. Jesus is the savior of mankind." This is one of the most spiritual and powerful interpretations.
I interpret it differently. I think, people who want a deep meaning of the joke are getting trapped in the Hermeneutic temptation. I think the joke has to be taken literally. What I mean is, Jesus is such a virgin ass man that he has never seen a pussy before. He really thinks it's a kind of wound. And that is the relationship, a perverted relationship with sex that most people who do not have access to it view it as.
What perversion can occur to the concept which is literally the meaning of perversion? Many people confuse sex and perversion. Sex and desires merely are not perversion. Perversion is a serious psychoanalytic condition when lack of something (sex here) gets manifested as the presence of the lack or celebration of the lack.
A crude example would be Zakir Khan' famous proclamation, "Haq se single". Why this is a perverted statement is because the lack of relationship in life is here perceived by the proclaimer as celebration of this very lack.
In a patriarchal set up, men think they have to get sex from women. It is like, something that they don't have, they have to snatch it or achieve it through hard work or otherwise. Whereas A majority of patriarchal women's perspective remains that sex is something that happens to her. She does not do it. She is the playground where it happens. This is what shocked men when women started demanding equal rights to orgasm and sex in feminist movement. Men could not comprehend that women also have sex like we do. They literally used to think that they do not have any sensations, and they are just providers of pleasure to us, a sort of like, Masturbatory tool.
In modern set up, Sexual tension manifests itself as a political conflict between the two genders, homosexual or heterosexual. The operative force of fantasy operates. and behind the force of fantasy lies the real of the process, Sex.
Suppose two people met. They are highly attracted to each other. This attraction not just manifests itself as cooperation between the two, talking about being in love all the time, rather it manifests itself as fights, conflict and chaos. The constant insecurity of loss of pleasure is already present in the structure of every romantic relationship. The drive, which we call libido in psychoanalytic terms, is fueled by the insecurity of the loss of pleasure not just due to losing your partner but also losing the interest due to full availability and accessibility to your partner.
When everything is available to you, nothing is available to you. is the motto of sexual fantasy. The phantasmatic element of sex is the object cause of desire of sex. The surplus enjoyment is in the delayed enjoyment and the buildup in your mind about sexual pleasure.
The real, the sex, is an extremely mechanical activity and in some sort of existential thinking, you might argue, why the excretory organs of both people go into each other? Why this question is actually a part of a perverted anti-fantasy is that this suppresses the desire to have sex in a negative connotation given to the process.
The problem with humans is projective identification. They do not view the lack of substance within themselves, they view the lack as a quality to the object itself. They will not see that they cannot admit their desire for this "Filthy" thing, they say, oh sex is filthy. For example, if someone says to you, Sex is such a gross process, so filthy, why God made such a process to reproduce. Understand that he might not be even talking to you. He is talking to himself. He cannot understand this that he has a desire to do this even though he thinks it is filthy and bad and not worthy of doing it.
Human beings have a hard time accepting it that they might like doing things that they do not like imagining. Also, a childish imagination that the only use of a penis is in peeing shows how in imagination, superego manifests its desires to maintain a bitchless person as bitchless.
Coming to another aspect of it, in all these, Sex remains "The Real" of the whole fantasy. When in the process, the fantastic element drops, and this is the arena of anxiety and therefore extreme pleasure. It will not be wrong to say, Anxiety is the cause of pleasure. We like to feel anxious about certain aspects of life. For example, Sex itself. During the process, when the clothes drop and two people are naked doing it, healthy is that they feel anxious, their heart rates go up. They rush. They wish to delay pleasure. They have a conflict and agonizing pain that leads to a climax where all sexual build up and energy leads to a stable state. But what happens, due to all these pre-occupied imaginations that people have before having actual sex, that fantasy does not leave them even at the sight of the real.
It is sort of like, seeing God in front of you and then you ignored God and started worshipping the idol that you made, again. So, this leads to either perversion where sometimes men or women prefer masturbation over real sex. They prefer sniffing and stealing clothes of other gender better than the actual sex even if the latter is available. They prefer molestation even if they have a wife not because there is something more appealing in the woman they molest, but this is how fantasy and perversion works. A pervert stops taking pleasure in the actual process of sex rather the different ways to achieve it. Like, molesting, stealing, sniffing, flirting etc. These are of course important, but they were not the end in themselves rather they were merely means.
Second angle of continuance of fantasy will be in neuroticism. A Neurotic obsesses with the end goal and its quality that all that matters to the Neurotic is the climax. For him, the fantastic anxiety is suppressed by the desire to reach orgasm. Both these aspects harm the way they view life in general.
Let us come back to basics.
1. Sex, you like it not because it is available to you but precisely because it is unavailable but anytime it can be available. It is like, a ghost might be hiding in your closet. It is currently unavailable but the anxiety that it is there creates the tension.
2. All fantasies are fantasies of pre-sex. Sexual fantasies should ideally drop at the act itself, and a healthy person should get thought less at the moment. That's why in many cultures, Sex and spirituality has these deep interconnections.
3. The deviation from this ideal behavior occurs due to traumas of the childhood. The failure to comprehend your desires or accepting your desires might lead to either perversion or neuroticism.
In all these, Sex remains the bold and beautiful truth that it is. For example, When Lao Tzu says, the ugly was not ugly before you said it was ugly. Your perception of its ugliness is because of your perception of beauty. Yes, Penis, the long yardstick of pleasure, goes deep within the wet and marshy cave called vagina. And there should be no filth in that. Filth is Filth because of its identification as such. Filth might be your sub-conscious's way of hiding the desire it likes to strengthen. But it becomes problematic when you start avoiding the real for these Fantasies. Fantasies should end the moment Sex begins.
And I think people who connected sex to divine and Super consciousness, The Tantra people, they were Geniuses. Super consciousness is a state of no-thought and peace. When we label sex as a filthy exercise, we are in the domain of thought. Our thought imaginations of divine is something so pious. This was the short-circuit that was needed. Connecting the so called "Filthy" with the so called "Pious" breaks all coordinates of man. He can no longer judge what is what and in that penultimate moment, there is a chance that he might become of no-thought, or Nirvana.
I believe sex is the easiest meditation. And I do not use stupid whitewashing words like, Love. I mean it literally. Sex and nothing else can lead to Divine. No love, No Gyan. Only Sex. The filthy, animalistic, rigorous, rough and the pleasurable. Love is when you love sex. I mean, the act, not the talk. Love is just talk. I want action. Sex is love in action. Let me show you what your body is capable of having! My baby! That's how it has to occur. That's how it will occur without any human intervention. No human can stop the force of God, that is, Sex. No philosophical dogma, no spiritual masturbatory talk can stop the reality of the divine, Sex.
I often have a joke. Why no god replies to your prayers ever? They are busy having sex and creating more universes. Give your Gods some privacy.
